Last Summer. Every few chapters there is a chapter that takes place 'last summer'. Most of the characters are the same, and the action is just as intense as the main story and honestly I got confused a few times at where I was in the timeline. This might be because when I read I usually only have a certain amount of time, so I often have to stop in the middle of a chapter.
